Meta Ads Integration
Connect your Meta Ads account to Glimmio to unlock AI-powered campaign optimizations, daily profit tracking, and automated reporting.
How OAuth & Connection Works
Glimmio uses the official Meta Business Login (OAuth 2.0) to securely authenticate your account. You will be redirected to Meta to approve access. Glimmio never sees or stores your personal Facebook password.
Once authenticated, you will select a specific Ad Account from a dropdown. Your token is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and is scoped strictly to the selected workspace.
Permissions Required
- ads_management: Used to read your campaigns, ad sets, ads, and insights. This permission is also used by our Action Center to pause underperforming ads or increase budgets—but only after you explicitly approve the action in the UI.
- ads_read: Used to sync daily performance metrics (Spend, Impressions, Clicks) into our profit analytics engine.
- business_management: Used strictly to retrieve the list of Ad Accounts you have access to during the initial onboarding step.
Data Synced
Glimmio fetches campaign metadata and aggregated daily insights. We do not sync personal user data or target audience PII from your Meta account. Data is synced hourly and stored in an isolated tenant database schema.
Disconnecting & Data Deletion
You can disconnect your Meta Ads account at any time from the Workspace Settings > Integrations page. Disconnecting immediately revokes our access token and stops all background syncs.
To permanently delete all synced Meta data from Glimmio's servers, visit our Data Deletion page or use the Meta App Dashboard to trigger the official Data Deletion Callback.
