Data Deletion & Export

Glimmio is committed to data privacy. This page explains how to request data deletion, export your data, and our retention policies.

Data Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)

If you wish to delete your Glimmio account and all associated data, you must be the Owner of the workspace.

  1. Go to Settings → Workspace.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Workspace.
  3. Confirm the deletion. This action is irreversible.

Upon deletion, all connected integrations are immediately disconnected. Your database records (campaigns, cached orders, AI conversation history, action history) are marked for deletion and permanently removed from our active databases within 72 hours, and from backups within 30 days.

End-Customer Data Deletion

Glimmio acts as a Data Processor for your end-customers' data (e.g., when sending WhatsApp or email messages). If your customer requests deletion of their data (GDPR Article 17 / CCPA):

  1. Forward the request to privacy@glimmio.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request - End Customer".
  2. Include the customer's email address or phone number.
  3. We will purge any associated delivery logs or cached data for that customer within 72 hours.

Data Export

Workspace Owners can request a complete export of their workspace data (GDPR Right to Data Portability).

  • Email privacy@glimmio.com from the Owner's email address.
  • Data will be provided in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV) within 14 days.

Data Retention Policy

  • Ad Campaign Data: Cached for the duration of your active connection to calculate trends. If you disconnect an integration, the associated data is purged within 30 days.
  • Order & Customer Data (Shopify): Glimmio stores the order, customer, consent, attribution, and contact records required for reporting, lifecycle messaging, suppression, and verified-purchase reviews. These records remain tenant-scoped and are deleted through the documented account-deletion workflow.
  • Action Center History: Action execution and rollback history is retained for 1 year for audit purposes.
  • AI Conversation History: Retained until you manually clear it or delete your workspace.
